The 5LE Non-Turbo gets a boost.

That's right, we didn't even consider the non-turbo 5LE as a candidate...that is until one of our distributors contacted us with the results. He had a customer who was desperate for some more power and torque from the 5LE Hilux so they fitted the DPChip and did some dyno runs. Well, the results speak for themselves. Someone said to us: "Hey, that's only a 5kW increase!" ...well from a total of 40kW to begin with that's a 12.5% increase which is fantastic in a non-turbo diesel. The dyno shows a real improvement. What's even more important is the real world gains with the vehicle on road. The customer was very happy and says the car now drives like never before. In conjunction with our distributor we have now refined the tuning for the 5LE even further to really optimise performance and were happy to now make the DPChip available as an upgrade for this vehicle.
